This may be the best Vista Verde yet produced and the aromas, if youthfully coiled, are a focused mix of cherry cream sickle, cranberry, blueberry, pink peppercorn, mace, baking spice and Earl Grey tea. In the mouth, the texture is wonderfully creamy yet underpinned by racy minerality and the flavors are buoyant if still youthfully firm. That same reserve is notable in the very long if youthfully shy finish. Expect eighteen to thirty-six months of improvement.
