This delicious wine opens with focused aromas of sour red cherry, pomegranate syrup, black raspberry and blueberry, supported by undercurrents of peppery bouillon and rooty spice. At opening, the flavors are focused and rich and the wine is notably gutsy, despite the polished Table Eleven style. Those flavors beautifully mirror the fruit expressions presented in the nose and they carry through a very long finish. In the finish, rooty spice and black peppercorn notes bring dryness to the otherwise dominant fruit. Tasty and food worthy as it is right now, it is likely three years from its full expression. 60 cases produced.
