If as darkly ripe as its Diamond Mountain sibling, this a supple, immediately rewarding bottling. The nose is a rich mélange of dark cherry galette, mulberry, blueberry, black fig, licorice root, clove, cedar, baking spice, dark tobacco and graphite scents. It is fruit dominant, plush and polished in the mouth and very long. Delicious and diner worthy, it will yet improve. A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petite Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc & 3% Merlot, 105 cases produced.
