Elegant and softly rich, this wine offers forthcoming aromas of red plums and baked cherries, with notes of mocha and sandalwood in the background. It shows quiet zest on the palate, where red currant, cranberry, red plum and dried red cherry join sandalwood, baking spice, mace, clove and anise to fill out a lingering finish. Ready for food service now, it should evolve over the next year or so into a nifty sipper as well. 400 cases produced.
