Zesty, and if still a bit youthfully reserved, the nose of this Chardonnay comes forth as a medley of green apple, dried pear, quince paste and Meyer lemon with some mineral underpinnings. Flavors of baked apple, quince, pear skin, lemon peel, minerals and a hint of toasted almond create a fine harmony and attractive tension on the palate and through a tightly-wrapped, lingering finish. If delicious now, it should grow in dimension over the next eighteen to thirty months.
