Winemaker's Notes

Pale yellow. Pretty, high aromas of ripe green and barely ripe yellow orchard fruits with fresh herbs and a marine like salinity; an iodine tone. The distance between its top and bottom notes carries through to the fruit on the palate, coiled but wide. Large-scaled and amply weighted, yet supported by seamlessly integrated acids. A drawn-out lingering finish, imprinted with its Hudson sauvage character. Delicious.

Lots of dried and ripe apples with pineapple, lemon curd and pie crust undertones. It’s full-bodied and layered, with plenty of fruit and caramel and honey undertones. Tangy yet creamy textured. Flavorful at the end. Drinkable now, but better in a year or two
