Both zest and minerality frame-in the nose of this Chablis-like Chardonnay, though its aromas of fresh apple, pear skin, lychee and honeysuckle rise to counterpoint  the mineral undercurrents. Lime, lemon and fresh apple take center-stage on the mid-palat, while apple skin, mineral and hazelnut flavors bring support. A long, food worthy finish guarantees splendid service with sautéed scallops and the like, and the wine should grow ever more appealing for another twelve months.
