Deep, focused and spicy, the aromas of this gorgeous Pinot Noir are a delightfully generous melange of sweet maraschino cherry, cherry pit, red raspberry, lingonberry, mace, baking spice, sweet tobacco, licorice root and hazelnut scents. It is palate-coating, grand in scale, vibrantly fresh and altogether delicious on the palate, where the flavors actually exceed what is promised in the nose. The texture has generosity and attractive tension, and the finish is extremely long, with fine harmony but a fruit dominant personality. As delicious as it is already, it is probably three years from showing all that it eventually has to offer.
