Black fig, black raspberry, peppery broth and a suggestion of pink rose rise above a core of dark cherry in the nose of this immediately attractive Zinfandel. In the mouth, flavors of black raspberry, black cherry, black pepper, licorice root and fig unfold with fine focus and they prove as appealing as hoped on the palate. The wine is dinner balanced and the finish notably long, as a push of dark cherry, golden fig and licorice becomes the lasting memory (along with the wine’s notable value). Kosher. 450 cases produced.
