Quietly rich, if spicy, the nose melds scents of pink grapefruit, honey, kumquat, white pepper, melon and lychee into a gentle, bright harmony. It is, at opening, a bit leaner than expected on the palate, if long and food balanced. Melon and lychee are at equal intensity with all the spice notes in the mouth and through a lingering, food worthy finish. Tasty already, it will grow finer over the next year. A blend of Malvasia Bianca, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chenin Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Semillon. 2000 6-packs produced.
