This lovely Rosé has a vibrant “copper penny” color, with pretty pink highlights. The nose offers appealingly rich, gently zesty aromas of watermelon, apricot pit, pink rose, nectarine and a hint of white pepper. There is an attractive weightiness on the palate, where flavors of watermelon and nectarine pit are accented by suggestions of kumquat preserves and mace, while stony mineral undercurrents render the notably food worthy finish fully dry. Although a very satisfying sipper, it will prove a terrific companion to foods as diverse as grilled salmon or green papaya salad.
