If still a hint youthfully reserved yet elegant and quietly rich, the nose of this classy Pinot Noir is a focused medley of sweet red cherry and red raspberry fruit, with undertones of pink rose, orange creamsicle, hazelnut, and chalk. As expected, the flavors are a bit youthfully coiled and slightly gripping at first sip, but with airing, things flesh out nicely, while a lingering finish shows off the wine’s flavors, classy oak, and depth. The overall impression is of youth and complexity, delivered in a lean style. A fine dinner wine now, it is likely two years from its very best. 132 cases made.
