The nose of this immediately engaging Cab is packed with sweet red cherry, red currant, cherry pit, pomegranate, vanilla, sweet tobacco, cedar and toffee scents, all in great focus and showing classy harmony.  The aromatic harmony is further elevated on the palate, where a whisper of mocha sweetens the cherry and vanilla flavors that hold center stage through a very long finish where the wine's tannic edge is effectively polished away. This is a heady-rich bottling, yet the style is never less than  captivating. Delicious as it is now, it may not reach its maturity for another three or four years. 150 cases produced.
